Personally, I think the current classification of the tulpa is quite a nonsense, because there is no theoretical or comprehensive exlpanation or interpretation about the tulpa in the Japanese community... (i.e. commonly accepted explanation about the tulpa.)
I think the Japanese community is need to import the psychological-based perspectives and explanations from english communities. I concern about there is too many people that having magical perspectives on the tulpa in the Japanese community. In my opinion, it's a one of the reason of recent trouble/problems in the community, and the community needs a theoretical (or scientific) and comprehensive explanations about tulpamancy. I guess recent academic research about the tulpa, the Stanford study, will help us in the future. (It's just begin, and thus there is no scientific report or paper about the tulpa yet, as far as I know.)
Also, I assume the mental health of Japanese tulpa community is not very good. As far as I can see (mainly twitter), some people have mentally illness like depression and social anxiety. I also have these too, and I created a tulpa for mitigate my loneliness by the way.
PS:
Mr. Zeldashu2, do you reading Japanese directly? or using Google translator? I'm just curious. :)
Creating a tulpa to relieve loneliness is arguably the most common reason. After all, socializing is one of the human needs, which is why so many people are exposed to this culture.
I hope things aren't too bad with you. : )
Yes, your concerns are real. It's the next thing we have to face.
According to former sources, the results of the Stanford experiment won't be known until next winter at the soonest, which is still a long way off. As one of my assistants once said, we shouldn't always wait for the English community to act. There are some things we can do right now, and good luck can even help researchers.
In addition, the paper on Tulpa has been published in 2015. You can refer to the timeline above. The paper, written by Dr Samuel, is about some survey data about the english-speaking community and his own inferences. If I'm not mistaken, Dr. Samuel seems to be one of the people in charge of this experiment.
P.S:
I currently use five translators to help me understand what I see. :P
That's thanks to Japanese translation software for the Olympics, the miraitranslate. You can speak directly in your native language, and most of the time I can understand the meaning.
