Its depends on phasing of your system - I send you correct as on schematic ( 2,3 signal - 1,4 ground ) but if you system have some phasing singularity - you need reverse phase

The 618B seems to have 30ohm/600ohm primary and 25kohm secondary, so it's not the same transformer. Does that mean that the transformers are made with the same permalloy core and have the same dimensions?

Yes Susumu KS9450 and WE618B have the same dimensions,but can't have the same sounds and input -output impedance,and as with WE285L and another WE285 transformers they all very different.
